John Evans, who made his home in Monroe Township for a good many years, had lived on a farm adjoining James Munson, died at the advanced age of 84. For the past few years he had been quite deaf. Henry and Willard Evans are sons of his, the former being an employee at the Marion Soldiers home, and the latter a resident of this city.
