Mrs. Abbot died Saturday morning, in a Tyler hospital, following a short illness. She was born in Howland, spent most of her life in the Paris area and had lived the past 15 years in Lindale. She was a member of the Church of God in Paris and was a housewife.
Survivors include five sons, J.C. Abbott of Dallas, James and Gary Abbott, both of Lindale, Bill Abbott of Sweeny and Donald Abbott of Tyler; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Ausmus of Paris, Mrs. Betty Jouvier of Mineola, Mrs. Syble Fowler of Dallas and Mrs. Brazeal of Allen; two brothers, Jesse Cochrum and Wesley Cochrum. both of Paris; three sisters, Estelle Cochrum of Paris, Edna Clark of Cooper and Mrs. Sue Smith of Paris; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
