James Arnold Abbott, 59, dead on arrival at a Paris hospital, Saturday about 7 a.m., after a heart attack, at home 542-7th SW.
He operated a second-hand store at 344 Bonham St.
The funeral, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., will be held at the Church of God on Bonham Street by the pastor, the Rev. G. M. Gilbert. Gene Roden & Sons will make burial in Union Cemetery, west of Taylortown.
Born in Shady Grove community, May 6, 1897, Mr. Abbott was a son of the late Gus and Mary Abbott. He was a member of the Church of God here.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Exie I. Cochran; and these children: J. C. Abbott, James Abbott and Mrs. IVII Clayton, of Dallas; Billy Wayne Abbott, Donald Ray Abbott, Gary Lee Abbott, Sybil Abbott and Ruth Ann Abbott, all of Paris, and Mrs. W. D. Ausmus, San Antonio; four grandchildren.
