Nina R. Waechter
Nina R. WAECHTER, 84, of 1427 1/2 Monroe St., died at 5:15 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Hospital following a two-week illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1905 in Rochester to William W. and Mabel A. NORMAN ZIMMERMAN. She moved here 20 years ago from Culver City, Calif. She spent her winters in Phoenix, Ariz. She was married to Ralph D. WAECHTER, who died Dec. 29, 1969. She was a beautician.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Lura) KIRKENDALL, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Stanley (Anita) SAMUELSON, Rochester. Preceding in death were four brothers, John F., Ralph, Byron and Dale [ZIMMERMAN], and three sisters, Martha ZIMMERMAN, Wilma McKINNEY and Mary Jean ZIMMERMAN.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Sam WRIGHT officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rochester.
