Ethel Adams
Mrs. Ethel ADAMS, 82, R.R. 3, Rochestr, died today at 8:30 a.m. at Canterbury Manor nursing home, where she was a patient the past five months. She had been in failing health for several years.
Born Aug. 20, 1893 in Richland township to Thomas and Ida MARTINDALE TRIMBLE, she lived in Fulton county her entire life. Her marriage was on April 30, 1910 in Richland township to Earl H. ADAMS, who survives. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Richland Center United Methodist church and of the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. B. (Nadine) WALKER, Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Cecil V. (Ruth) MOORE, R.R. 3, Rochester; three grandchildren, Cecil V. MOORE Jr., Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Mrs. Terry HATFIELD and Mrs. Debra Ann SHELBURNE, both of Rochester; four great-grandsons, and one sister, Mrs. Herbert (Marie) WARNER, R.R. 3, Rochester. One grandson, three sisters and a brother preceded in death.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Richland Center United Methodist church with the Rev. Terry SHOEMAKER officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday and until 11 a.m. on Friday and at the church one hour prior to services.
