Mr. Oscar R. Brooks 217 East Breighton, Plainwell Passed away Tuesday at Pipp Community Hospital. Mr. Brooks was born Oct. 11, 1887, in McClensboro, Ill. He is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters, Mrs. Ina Gardner, Mrs. Cudnada Swinehart, both of Plainwell, Mrs. Dallas Swinehart of Martin, Kenneth and Bob of Kalamazoo, J. L. Brooks of California; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. A son, George, passed away in 1969. Friends may call at the Marshall & Gren Chapel, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Mr. Terry LaFountain officiating.
