Sgt Troy J. Trott was a soldier in the 180th Infantry Regiment 45th Infantry Division and was killed on 10 July 1943 near Scoglitti in Sicily.
He was first buried in a field grave nearby. Three weeks later he was reburied in the temporary American GELA cemetery in Sicily in grave E-50-592, date of burial was 5 August 1943.
