Stolen cell phone missing link
On February 5th, Columbus police found the body of Daniel Skaggs in his apartment on North 17th Street, without any signs of a struggle.
Skaggs, a veteran of the US Army, lived in the apartment for only a short time. A search of his home found only one thing missing: a cell phone.
Skagg's son-in-law is disappointed the phone, which is still being used, has not lead to an arrest. But police insist they have used phone records to interview 40 people and they can only trace the phone to a three-block area, not close enough to catch the person using it.
If you have information that can help police solve this murder, call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 645-TIPS.
