Mrs. Mary Alice Albert, 92, died Friday at Pulaski General Hospital.
Mrs. Albert was the widow of the late Thomas Franklin Albert who died in May of 1950. A life-long member of the First United Methodist Church, Mrs. Albert lived at 144 Fourth St., N.W., Pulaski.
Born in Pulaski County on June 15, 1876, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Jane Miles Roope. Surviving are five daughter, Mrs. Ella Wirt of Pulaski, Mrs. Dava Rorrer of Landover, MD., Mrs. S.D. Phillips and Mrs. George Brown of Leesburg, and Mrs. Mamie Warden of Bel Air, MD. Other survivors are four sons, Cabell N. Albert of High Point, N.C., Garnett F. Albert of Vinton, Newton and Henry L. Albert, both of Pulaski; 30 grandchildern, 57 great-grandchildern, and 27 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday from the First Methodist Chrucj of Pulaski. Dr. Robert H. Duncan and the Rev. James Hubbard will officiate.
