Helen June Seidel, 94, of Strawberry Point, formerly of Moline, IL, died May 13, 2009 at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home of a long illness. Services will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, May 18, 2009 with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at St Johns Lutheran Church, in East Moline, IL with Rev. Kent Umbarger officiating. Burial will be in the Greenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, E. Moline, IL. Survivors include one son, James (Barbara) Seidel of Strawberry Point; two grandsons, Jeffrey of Palo Alto, CA and Scott of Cambridge, MA; a brother Duard Brafford of Jefferson, MO and a brother-in-law, John (Gertrude) Seidel of Prescott,AZ Helen had been a waitress at the Plantation Supper Club for many years. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gustav.
