OBIT: Sadie McMahon Watson
Formerly of Ohioville and East Liverpool - Sadie Watson 97, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 21, 2003 in Palm Gardens, Largo, FL. Born Feb. 13, 1906 in East Liverpool, she was a Daughter of the late George J. McMahon and Ida May McMahon. Before moving to Ohioville for three years, she was a resident of East Liverpool for most of her life. For 26 years she was the cashier at the Crucible Steel Restaurant. She was a member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church, East Liverpool, Ohio and treasurer of the Ambassador Sunday School class of her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Watson, on January 13, 1981, a daughter Mrs. Donna Campbell on January 9, 2000, a granddaughter, Mrs. Sherry Seabrook in August 2001, two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are two granddaughters, Mrs. James (Debby) Lewis and Mrs. Forest (Kathryn) Estel. Nine grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, a nephew and three nieces. Friends will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9PM in the J. T. Anderson Funeral Home, 205 College Ave., Beaver, PA where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11AM with the Rev. Michael Kramer, her pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry, PA.

Correction: Survived by five nieces: Inez (Sam) Hill, Shirley Muschweck, Beverly (Elmer) Keaton, Linda Muschweck and Sandy Muschweck. Two Nephews: Henry Muschweck, and Donald McMahon.

OBIT IN OAKLAND CHURCH NEWS LETTER: Sadie Watson, age 97 went to be with her Lord on May 21, 2003. Sadie was the oldest member of the Oakland church. She was faithful to the morning and evening worship service and Wednesday prayer meeting. Sadie served for many years as the treasurer for the Ambassador Class. There are many who will remember her as the kind lady who loved children and supplied them with candy. Sadie loved her Lord and the church. In seeing the need for new carpenting in the sanctuary, Sadie made a gift of the carpeting. She will be missed but remembered by the lives she touched.
