Eldorus Ephraim Stevens, (went by the name of Ephraim), son of Hiram Stevens and Rosella Cross Stevens.
An early mayor of Oshkosh for 2 terms and was responsible for the purchase of Menominee Park (formerly known as North Park) and was voted out because of it. He was a member of the Wisconsin State senate, and was the architect of many still standing buildings in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, such as the Merrill School, the Wakeman and Buckstaff homes.
