Jennie was a beautiful person. She was kind, loving and generous. She was the first person to offer me a job when I was a kid. I believe it was an excuse to have me around. I took care of her lawn, watering it, and pulling weeds and dandylions. I didnt really do that much work, but she payed me anyway. What I remember about my Auntie was she always played the role of big sister to my Mother. Even though my Mom was already in her sixties, she was still her baby sister. She always watched over her no matter what. Jennie loved bowling and playing bingo. She was a pretty darn good bowler. As far as her family, she was a loving wife to her husband, and a loving Mother to her three children. She was then diognosed with cancer. It was so heartbreaking to lose her. It came so unexpected. My Aunt once told me that we should always try to keep in touch, because you never know when one day the person you love will be there and the next day they may be gone. That really stuck with me and has always stayed in my heart. The time you put in with family is important. I dont have any regrets because I kept in contact with her and she really loved that. She taught me something that will always stay with me. She left behind her husband David and her children Ronnie, Debbie and Sandy and lots of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Boy did she love her Grandchildren. Also my Mother Emily and of course me. Aunt Jennie I miss you so much, and I know God will always keep you in his memory. He has a special plan for you. I love you.

My Aunt

I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace little one at last."

I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."

I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She's with you every day."
