Mrs. Martha A. Curtis died at her home in Osakis March 18. The deceased was a native of Ohio, having been born in that state in 1838. She came to Osakis in 1867 and had been a resident of that village since that time. Mrs. Curtis's death occurred after an illness of more than two years. She leaves one son, Jesse M. Curtis, who is a resident of the eastern part of the county. Mrs. Curtis was a sister of Mrs. J. B. Johnson and Mrs. W. P. Long of Osakis.
The funeral occurred Monday afternoon of last week from the home of the deceased, the Rev. Carl A. Anderson, of the Methodist church, officiating.
