Ila G. Albert, 88, of Everett, WA, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2009. She was born on November 1, 1920 in Rockford, WA, to Wilber and Fern (Wing) Curry.
Ila attended and graduated from Worley High School in 1937. She later worked as an apartment manager, helping people to receive housing. Ila married Conrad Albert on March 18, 1969 in Coeur d'Alene, ID, and they were together until his passing February 3, 1982. Ila enjoyed spending her free time doing crossword puzzles, tending her houseplants and bird watching.
Ila is survived by her daughter, Patricia Simon LaPlante, of Everett; her step-children, Dorothy Martin, Mary Franke, Glenn Albert, Lawrence Albert, Barbara Pearman, and George Albert; her brothers, William Curry, of Providence, RI, and Kenneth Curry, of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Terry Warner, of Eugene, OR, and Jeff LaPlante, of Everett; and her great-grandchildren, Cameron and Paige LaPlante, of Everett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Zada Mae Hedger, Stella Simon, Laura Jackson, Lois Brewer, Dorothy Thompson, Myrna Dean Curry, and George Curry.
At Ila's request there will be no services. Her final resting place will be Greenwood Memorial Terrace of Spokane, WA.
