Archie Gene Boatright, 54, of Quinlan, formerly of Paris, died Friday, 23 Dec 1989, in El Paso. Services were held Thursday, 29 Dec, in the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur Springs. Burial was in the Rockford Cemetery in Lamar County.

Mr. Boatright was born 28 Mar 1934, in Paris, a son of James William and Mozelle Locke Boatright. He was a health plan administrator and a Methodist. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Surviving are his mother of Sulphur Springs; two sons, James W. Boatright of Quinlan and Randy G. Boatright of Dallas; two sisters, Carol Ivey of Sulphur Springs and Loreda Cunningham of Arlington; and one grandson.
