Mrs. Barbara M. Schwenk, widow of John Schwenk, died suddenly Wednesday in her home on Glen Street. She had celebrated her 83rd birthday on Christmas Day. Mrs. Schwenk had been a resident of the Golden Hill section of Kingston for nearly half a century, and was one of the oldest members of Trinity Lutheran Church on Spring Street. Surviving are a son, John Schwenk of Pittsburgh, Pa.; five grandsons, John Schwenk of New York, Paul Struble of Kingston, Walter Struble of Syracuse, Frank Struble of Philadelphia, and P.F.C. Robert Struble stationed at Camp Pickett, Va.; and three granddaughters, Mrs. Frank Hoffman of New York, and Mrs. Fred Markle, and Miss Irene Struble, both of Kingston, and eight grand-children. Funeral services will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Montrepose Cemetery.
