Leroy Adams
Last rites will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Leroy ADAMS, 68, Indianapolis, who died Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Marion County General hospital. He had been a patient there since June 26 and had been ill since May 1.
The Rev. James RHOADS will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
A native of Craborchard, Ky., Mr. Adams was born Sept. 15, 1892, the son of Edward Lee and Rachel Jane HAYTEN ADAMS. A painter, he had lived 25 years in Indianapolis, moving there from Raccoon, Ind.
He was married Aug. 12, 1922, at Greencastle, to Anna Louisa MAXFIELD, who died March 15, 1958. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Rosella Jane SPARKS, Lucas street; one son, Edward Lee ADAMS, Coolidge, Ga.,; one brother, Fount ADAMS, Raccoon, and one half-brother, Glen HAYTEN, Rockville.
