Funeral services for Robert A. Oxley for many years a trapper and gardener of Central Illinois will be conducted Sunday at the Warrensburg Church of God. He died in his home last Thursday following an illness of 11 weeks. He was unusually well known among farmer and hunters on account of his trapping operations. He was a truck gardener when trapping season were closed.

He was born in Indiana on Aug.9, 1872.He came to Illinois as a young man and passed 32 years in the central part of the state. He was a member of the Warrensburg Church of God.

He leaves the following children, Mrs. Lola Cotner,Warrensburg,Mrs. Lida Anderson,Decatur,Mrs. Cena Shepherd,Altamont,Mrs. Marie Armstrong,Decatur, and John,Jack,and Merna Oxley,Warrensburg. A brother and two sisters also are left, brother,Sam,Decatur, Sister Mrs. Martha Sutton,Indiana,Mrs.Etta Kincaid, Brooklyn, N.Y., 11 grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Illini cemetery near Warrensburg.
