Mr. Floyd Edward "Eddie" Beaver, age 66 of Mountain Home passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 at his home. Eddie Beaver was born February 6, 1942 in Leslie, AR to Wyatt and Geraldine (Killion) Beaver. He married Linda Sue Long on August 26, 1995 in Tulsa, OK. He served in the US Army and later worked as an electrician and retired from American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Elks, VFW, TWU, IBEW, and the Word of Life Church.
Mr. Eddie Beaver is survived by his wife, Linda Beaver of the home; 2 sons: Todd Beaver (Kelly) of Mountain Home and Edward Beaver (Millie) of West Plains, MO; 6 grandchildren: Megan, Derek, Maggie, Jeff, Michael, and Brianna; 1 sister Karen Hickey (John) of Owasso, OK; 3 sisters-in-law Patricia Nunley, Judy Anderson, and Ruby Hillburn; 1 nephew: Shawn Hickey(Leslie) of Owasso, OK; 1 great nephew: Blayke; 1 great niece: Taytum, and special blessing Dean Beaver-Lediner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and first wife Ione Beaver.
Visitation for Mr. Beaver will be Noon – 9 PM Saturday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Ford officiating. Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or the Word of Life Church.
