Mary J. Bonar, age 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
A visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday in the Roller Chapel with Deacon Richard Linstad. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday in St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Kanu as celebrant. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bonar was born December 8, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank and Victoria Dziadowiec Klimala. On October 22, 1944, she married Stanley J. Bonar in Chicago. She worked for Nabisco for over 30 years. She moved to Mountain Home in August of 1995 and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Ladies of the Moose and the Polish Club. Mrs. Bonar enjoyed shopping for her family and crocheting.
She is survived by a daughter: Arlene Bauer: Mountain Home; two brothers; Anthony Klimala: Orland Park, Illinois and Joseph Klimala: Salem, Arkansas; a grandson: Steven(Tam) Bauer: Rogers, Arkansas; a granddaughter: Tiffany Bauer (Don Stoner): Midway, Arkansas; a great-granddaughter: Isabella Bauer: Rogers; several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver: Alathea Daniels.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
