(Jon) Cool, Jermey T. Patton, Kyle D. Patton; three great grandchildren, Noah L. Willis, Ian R. Willis, Isaac C. Cool; three sisters, Mary Remius of Rural Retreat, Va., Edith Kinder of Bluefield, Va., Sandra Chambers of Galax, Va.; a brother, Walter Patton of Rural Retreat, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Patton was a United States veteran having served during World War II in the Navy and during Korea in the Army. He was employed as concrete plant operator for twenty-three years with Piqua Concrete (Beckert Bros.) retiring in 1977. He then worked at Crane Pumps, Piqua Granite, and for eight years at Forest Hill Cemetery. He was a member of the Covington V.F.W. Post. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Chaplain Edward Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
