"Sonny" Paul Edward Terry was born December 19, 1917 to parents Claud Washington Terry and Ida Philomena Gschwend Terry in Pocahontas, Randolph, Arkansas.

He was married Ida Mae (unknown maiden name) Terry.

"Sonny" is survived by his wife Ida Mae Terry; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Carol Terry; son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Judy Terry; as well as a number of grandchildren.

He was also survived by his brother "Joe" Joseph Leon Terry of Fresno, California and by his sisters in Arkansas: Caroline Virginia Terry Dodge, Agnes Pauline Terry Pierceall, and Anna Magdaline Terry Spence.

He was preceded in death by brother James Henry Terry as well as sisters Hubertina Terry, Helen Gertrude Terry, Mary Lucille Terry, Phylis Johana Terry, Zetta Katherine Terry, and Wilma Lucy Terry Bowden.

"Sonny" died in Phoenix on December 8, 1988 and is buried at Saint Francis Cemetery in Phoenix.
