Doyle Dahl Abrams of West Point died Sunday, Sept 7, 2008, of congestive heart failure. He celebrated his 80th birthday on Aug 24, 2008.

He was born in 1928 in West Point, UT to Raleigh & Mary Dahl Abrams. He married Florence Kirkman on Oct 6, 1948 in West Point. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in Feb of 1956.

After graduating from Davis High School, he worked at Hill Air Force Base for 34 years.

After retirement, he & his wife were snowbirds in St. George for many years.

He played baseball & lots of golf. He maintained friendships with special people from West Point, HAFB, & St. George. He had many golfing buddies & loved his Schneiter's Bluff golf family.

He is survived by his wife Florence, his brother John & sister-in-law Lorraine Abrams. Doyle's children are Dale Abrams, LeeRay and Melanie Abrams, & MaryLyne & Ernie Jones. He has 9 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the West Point 16th Ward, 4383 West 300 North. Friends and family may call Thur from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary 3333 West 5600 South & Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Burtenshaw & Dr. Cody, nurses and office staff for being so kind to their husband & father.
