On March 1, 1908, Susanna Schick, aged 31, a servant, travelled to the United States aboard the vessel Philadelphia which sailed from Southampton, England to New York, New York. Her nearest relative was shown to be Susanna Schick, of Kreimbach Pfafz, Germany, and she was travelling to the home of a friend, Mr. Louis Goldstechser, at 256 W. 113th St., New York, New York, with $50 in her possession. She was described as being 5'5" tall, with blonde hair, gray eyes and fair complexion.

Susanna Schick, aged 34, a housewife, born in Germany, came to the United States on February 27, 1911, with her son, Adolph Schick, aged 9, born in Kreimbach, Germany aboard the vessel Amerika, which sailed from Hamburg, Germany to New York, New York. She was travelling from the home of her brother, Wilhelm Schick, in New York, New York, to her brother, Charles Pitts, at 995 Fremont Street, New York, New York.

Susanna Abbot petitioned for naturalization on January 29, 1931 at the Southern District Court, New York, New York, stating that; she resided at 506 E. 82nd Street, New York, New York, was born in Kreimbach, Germany on January 28, 1877; was married to Robert Abbott on September 3, 1916, at Stamford, Connecticut; her husband was born in November 1881 at Longford, Ireland, and came to the United States in April 1904, and resided with her at 506 E. 82nd Street, New York, New York. Her husband was naturalized on June 3, 1924 at New York, New York. Susannah's last foreign residence was Kreimbach, Germany, and she came to the United States on August 3, 1904 from Antwerp, Belgium to New York, New York, under the name Lusanna Chick. Her witnesses were Otto Reichrath, a chauffeur, of 6121-157 Street, Flushing, L.I. and Ludwig Schneider, a machinist, of 3179-35 Street, Astoria, L.I.,

In 1940, Susanna Abbott, aged 63, widowed, born in Germany, was living on Maplewood Avenue, Brookhaven, NY. She lived alone.

Obituary - Mrs. Susan Abbott, aged 66, guarded by her pet dog, was discovered dead on Tuesday, in the bungalow where she lived alone on Oakdale Avenue in Selden. She was found by police after neighbors who called on Mrs. Abbott had found she did not answer the door. Coroner Grover A. Silliman pronounced dead due to natural causes. Mrs. Abbott is believed to have been dead about 24 hours before she was found.
