John Foley died very suddenly yesterday morning at his residence on Osage Street. It appears his death was caused by hemorrhage of the lungs. Mr. Foley had an attack of la grippe last winter and had never fully recovered.
He had been a resident of Leavenworth twenty-four years, and was known to almost everybody. He was a shoemaker and was employed at Ermon's shop on Fifth street. He leaves a widow and three grown children. The eldest son, Mr. James Foley, is assistant secretary of the Water Works company. The funeral will take place from the cathedral at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
