ADAIR, Robert David "Bob" - 68, Lower Sackville, passed away suddenly Friday, May 28, 2004, at home. Born in Westville, Pictou Co., he was a son of the late Robert and Bea (Wade) Adair. Robert was retired from the military. Robert's greatest passion was spending time with his family and he was always there to lend support and guidance for his grandsons, Matthew Adair and Jacob Doherty...his favorite saying was "No Problem!" Robert was a father figure to his oldest grandson, Matthew, and will be greatly missed by both boys. Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Jamieson; daughter, Susan (Dan) Doherty, Beaver Bank; brothers, Albert Adair, British Columbia; William (Marilyn) Adair, Dundas, Ont., as well as many nieces and nephews. At Robert's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 3, in St. Francis by the Lakes, First Lake Drive, Lower Sackville. Reception to follow. Robert will be missed by all who knew him.
