Survivors include her four sons: Jerry Garrett, Lonnie Garrett, Kenneth Garrett, all of Franklinton and Ronnie Garrett of Baton Rouge; four daughters: Carolyn Rivers of South Carolina and Faye Khan, Diana "Gail" Brister and Valencia London, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Georgia Rodgers of Seattle and Lillie Poole of Baton Rouge; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 21 in the Crain and Sons Funeral Home chapel in Franklinton from 2-7pm. A funeral service will be held at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday at 1pm, with Rev. Mallary Calahan, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Sweet Rest.
