BRIDGEWATER -- Gladys Fern (Huff) Bailey, a resident of Bridgewater Home, formerly of Augusta County, died Thursday (Feb. 19, 2004.) She was born Sept. 16, 1909, at Augusta County, to Bernard and Lucretia (Wise) Huff. She had been a bookkeeper for Augusta Cooperative Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William N. Bailey Jr.; and a brother, Griffith B. Huff. Survivors include two sisters, Janet H. Switzer of Staunton and Edith H. Miller of Bridgewater.
