Ben Williams Adams, Sr. (1906-1964), 58, owner of the Adams Service Station, 1824 Reid St., died in St. Augustine Sunday morning.

He was also the owner of the Adams Service Station in St. Augustine. Born in Elberton, Ga., he resided in St. Augustine since 1926 and was a member of Ashler Lodge , F&AM,, and was a member of the St. Augustine Shrine Club.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby M. Adams; mother, Mrs. H. G. Adams, both of St. Augustine; two daughters, Mrs. Cobbie Farver, Blissfield, Mich., Mrs. Doris Rinehart, Pirmasene, Germany; one son, Ben W. Adams, Jr., St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Mack Richardson, St. Augustine and Mrs. Mack Kay, Hartnell, Ga.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Craig Funeral Home, St. Augustine, with Rev. W. W. Fountain, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Ashler Lodge 96. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
