SOUTH HOUSTON, Texas — Frank E. Sallman, 58, South Houston, died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at Bayshore Medical Center, Pasadena. Mr. Sallman was born Sept. 8, 1937, at Minersville, Kan., and was a resident of Houston for 10 years, moving from Concordia, Kan. He was a former resident of the Stockton, Kan., area. He was a carpenter and manager of the former Oasis Club. He was a member of Concordia National Guard and Carpenter's Union.

Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Michelle Sallman of Houston; his mother and stepfather, Esther and John Horting of Tescott, Kan.; six sisters, Lenora Thomas of Salina, Kan., Charla Mills of Greenleaf, Kan., Vivian Schwab and Eva Schwab, both of Clifton, Kan., Rita Begnoche and Melisa Collette, both of Clyde, Kan.; and three brothers, Larry, Gary and Karl, all of Clifton.

The service will be announced later by Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth St., Concordia 66901.
