Delores Fay Able, 86, of Hope, formerly of Seymour, died at 4:25 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with Jerry Ballard officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include children, James E. (Phyllis) Able and Elneeta McIntyre; a brother, Richard (Mary) Roberts; a sister, Martha Brand; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Able was preceded in death by her husband, James M. "Ed" Able; a daughter, Eileen Mings; and a son, Steven E. Able.
