Elzora B. Tarter, 95, 113 Ping Street, Somerset, died Thursdy after an illness of several weeks.

She was born in Norfleet on December 23, 1878, the daughter of Calvin Wood and Joyce Cowan Wood, both deceased.

She married W. H. Tarter at Nancy in 1900 and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1955.

Survivors include one son, B. C. "Buddy" Tarter of Somerset, one daughter, Mrs. Carter Pierce of Somerset; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Pulaski County, a homemaker and a member of the Faubush Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with Rev. J. B. Bullock officiating.

Burial will be in the Wood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company after 5 p.m. this afternoon until after time for funeral services.
