She was a retired receptionist of an Orthopedic Group in Gainesville, past worth matron of Gainesville Chapter No. 44 order of the Eastern Star, lifetime member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 sons: Edward (Butch) Pridgen, Jr. of Rockport, TX, Allen Pridgen of Lake City, FL, Guy F. (Frankie) Kirby, JR. of Gainesville; 1 daughter, Rita Koblinski of Grand Saline, TX; 12 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren.
