Mrs Mary K Abbott, wife of C. K. Abbott, 1815 North Bois d'Arc Avenue, died at 11 p. m. Friday at San Antonio, where she was taken several weeks ago for a rest.
Mr. Abbott and C. H. Grant are due to arrive in Troup with the body at 6:50 a. m. Sunday and the funeral services will be held at Burks-Walker Funeral Home at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon, with Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Mrs. Abbott had lived In Tyler for many years and was known for her fine qualities, loyalty to high ideals, steadfastness, willingness to be of service and faithfulness to duty.
Surviving are her husband: two daughters, Mrs. C. H. Grant and Miss Mary Abbott of Tyler; three grandsons, Clarence Harrison, Carroll Grand and Clarence Abbott of Ann Arbor, Mich., one brother, Henry Kalt of Texarkana, and several sisters residing in the northern part of the county.
