[Herald of Truth - Volume XXII, Number 12 - June 15, 1885, Page 191] LANDIS - On the 17th of May, in Lancaster county, Pa., Anna R. Landis, widow of Benjamin L. Landis, aged 84 years, 11 months and 17 days. Funeral services were held on the 20th at 9 o'clock in the morning at the home of her son-in-law, Samuel Hershey near Bird-in-hand, and in the afternoon at the house of her grandson, Benjamin Landis near Oregon. At the latter place she was born and lived all her life till twelve years ago. Her eleven children survive her with the exception of one son. Forty-five grandchildren and sixty-one great-grandchildren are living. The Services in the morning were held by David Buckwalder and John L. Landis and in the afternoon by Charles Hostetler, Christian Bomberger, and John K. Brubaker.
