Monnie Evelyn Bryan, 92, of Sedgewickville, Mo., died Friday, May 31, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home there. She was born July 4, 1903, at Dalton, a daughter of the late Henry and Belle White Shride. Her husband, Willard Eugene Bryan, a daughter, Gwenda Lewis and two brothers, Arthur and Floyd Shride, also preceded her in death. Survivors are a daughter, Alta Hunter of St. Peters, Mo.; two brothers, Clifton Shride of Piggott and Orville Shride of Fresno, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with James Steska officiating. Burial followed in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Norman Hart, David Amos, Roy Baker, Bryan and Bruce Hunter, and B.E. Foster.
