Henderson, TN - Mrs. Laura Burkhead Cupples was the daughter of the late George Washington and Nancy Eva Edna Cupples Burkhead. Mrs. Cupples was a Seamstress for 10 years at Oakley Fashions in Jackson. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in the Friendship Community of Chester County. She was married to George Cupples on September 9, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by two daughters, Laverne Hurst and husband Bill of Henderson, TN, Eulena Sells and husband Ronnie of Beech Bluff, TN; a son, Boyd Cupples and wife Kathy of Finger, TN; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
