Rosie P. Wolfe, age 82, of Sheridan, WY died Saturday, September 2, 2005, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County
Rosie was born September 14, 1922, in Kleenburn, WY to Frank & Elizabeth (Mediate) Pedulla.
Rosie grew up and graduated high school in Sheridan. After high school, she married Roy E. Cotton. They later divorced. She cooked on ranches for many years. She worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell until she retired. After retiring, Rosie married E.C. ‘Bud' Wolfe in Sheridan. Bud died in 1987. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and the Telephone Company Pioneers. Rosie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking for friends and family.
Rosie was also preceded in death by three infant children and eight brothers and sisters.
Rosie is survived by her son Dan Cotton of Richmond, CA; two daughters Diana Sonderby of Sheridan and Donna Hobbs of Baton Rouge, LA; three step-daughters, Kay Pittman, Peggy Ann Buss, and Patti Klinkosh, all of Sheridan, WY; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Viewing will be 9:00am until 5:00pm on Thursday (Sept. 8th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00am on Friday (Sept. 9th) in Sheridan Elks Cemetery with Father Ronald Stolcis officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
