Mr. Gillham was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Granite City; retired in 1994 from McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis as a foreman after 29 years of service; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (Brauer) Gillham of Granite City; three daughters, Theresa Graf of Roxana and Yvonne White and Alice Gillham-McCormick, both of Granite City; one brother, William E. Gillham of Los Angeles; three grandsons; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur G. and Wilma L. (Ousley) Gillham.
Private Graveside services will be today, May 18, at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Edwardsville.
Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, handled the arrangements.
