She attended the public schools of Republic until third grade when the family moved to the Craig/Uehling, NE area, where she finished schooling and graduated from Uehling High School in 1927. She then attended Wayne State Normal.
In January of 1928 she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Perry Adams, and to this union one son was born. The couple owned and operated restaurants in Republic and Belleville. They also owned and operated a grocery store on Highway 36 in Belleville. She was a bookkeeper for the Sanborn Lumber Company until it closed. She made her home in Belleville.
She was a member of the Charity Rebekah Lodge No. 76 of Belleville for 50 years and was district deputy past president of the district assembly of the Lodge. She was also a member of the First Baptist church (sic), and the Cheerful Ladies club, both of Belleville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include son Duane Adams of Belleville; and one grandson.
Services were held March 21 at the First Baptist Church in Belleville, conducted by Pastors Leslie Warner and Robert Turner. Interment was in Ida Cemetery, rural Munden.
