White Plains – Mrs. Delia Bowen, widow of the late Halsey Bowen of Clintonville, died Saturday at St. Agnes Hospital here after a coronary attack.
Mrs. Bowen was born Nov. 14, 1879, daughter of Matilda J. Allen and Frank Allen. Her husband died in 1944.
Mrs. Bowen is survived by three daughters, Miss Aileen Bowen of Wallholland, where she had made her home, Mrs. Ina Frank Green of Brooklyn, Mrs. Lincoln Guenther of Chicago and one son George Bowen of Baldwin, L.I. One sister, Mrs. Mel Thomas of Arlington, Va., also survives.
The body is at the McDonough Funeral Home in Kesseville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Clintonville. Plattsburgh-Press Republican, N.Y Monday, May 29, 1861.
