Mr. Halsey Bowen passed away at his home Wednesday morning after a month's illness. Mr. Bowen was born in Clintonville May 29, 1882. He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Miss Aileen Bowen of N.Y.C., Mrs. Frank Green and Mrs. Lincoln Gunther of Cos Cob, Conn., and one son, George Bowen of Baldwin, L.I., and three grandchildren. The funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends at his home Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dale Russell officiating. Plattsburgh Press-Republican, N.Y. Thur. June 8, 1944.
