Mr. R. T. Crump Is Found Dead
Mr. R. T. Crump, age 77, was found dead at his home in the Prospect community Tuesday. Jan 3rd. He lived alone and it is believed that he had been dead for about 24 hours. His death attributed to paralysis.
He was born in Banks county and was well known in both Banks and Franklin counties. Funeral services were held at Prospect church Wednesday, Jan. 4th with Rev. Fletcher Durham conducting the services. Interment was in Prospect cemetery.
He is survived by the following children: Davis, Glenn, Grover, Joe, Grady and Dock Crump, Mrs. Amanda Murray, Mrs. Fannie Lou Allen, Mrs. Mollie Gurley, Mrs. Bessie Lynch, and Miss Mary Crump, 52 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
B. D. Ginn, funeral directors, was in charge of arrangements.
