Albert Lee Walters was born December 15, 1957 in Bakersfield, California to Melvin Walters and Barbra Jean Owens. Lee grew up in Arvin and attended Arvin elementary schools and graduated from Arvin High School. He married on November 25, 1974 and he and his spouse they continued to live in Arvin. Lee worked for Guimarra Winery, Corbel Cellars Gold Ribbon Potatoes and for the last four years owned and operated Walters Carpet Cleaning. Lee loved motor cycles and was always eager to share this hobby with his own children and all the neighborhood kids. He rode and repaired dirt bikes and helped anyone with an interest learn how to care for bikes. Lee is survived by his wife of 32 years, sons, grandchildren, parents, brothers, and sister. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Arvin Funeral Home will be held Tuesday, August 7 at 10am at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin in the outdoor chapel. A visitation will be held Monday, August 6 from 4pm to 8pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
