Marcus A. Tyre
JASPER, July 12 – Marcus Allen Tyre, 83, of Jasper, died today in a Live Oak hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Survuivors are his wife, Mrs. Alice Herring Tyre, Jasper; three daughters, Mrs. Leon Scaff, Jasper, Mrs. Q. D. Howell, Jacksonville, and Mrs. George Dopler, Millington, Tenn; a niece, Mrs. Morris Smith, Norfolk, Va.,: four sons, A. B. Tyre and Jesse Tyre, both of Jasper, Paul Tyre, Valdosta, Ga. and Mart Tyre, Crestview; two brothers, Lewis Tyre, Jasper, and Matthew Tyre, Blountstown.
Services will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church near Jasper. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Harry T. Reid Funeral Home is in charge.
