He was born Feb. 3, 1929, in Wier, the son of Earl and Zora Mosier. He was a railroader.
He belonged to Trinity Heights United Methodist Church and the Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
On Jan. 11, 1980, he married Eveanna Clutter in Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Joseph, Udall, Kelly, Hutchinson, and Tracy Jarchow, Phoenix; four daughters, Jane Sibley, Chanute, Kara Reynolds, Wichita, Nancy Hostetler, West Liberty, Ohio, and Mitzie Eddins, Lenexa; a sister, Mary Lou Rader, Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Phillip Fischer presiding. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Restlawn Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton.
Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Hospice or Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, both in care of the funeral home.
