Doris June McCoy, daughter of the late Thomas Orr and Etta King Orr was born on June 21, 1933 at Grayridge and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on March 31, 2009 at the age of 75.
Ms. McCoy attended the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, was a former nurse at Dexter Memorial Hospital for over 25 years, was a volunteer with the Stoddard County Gospel Mission in Dexter and was a resident of rural Dexter.

She is survived by one son, Mike McCoy of Dexter; by two daughters, Cheryl Molloy of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and Karen McCoy of Plano, Texas; by one sister, Ruth Tucker of Mer Rouge, La.; by three grandchildren, Kyle Molloy of Fort Collins, Co., Erin Molloy of Los Angeles, Calif. and Connor McCoy of Chicago, Ill.; by one nephew, Marion Junior Orr of Grayridge and other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry McCoy; by one daughter, Cathy McCoy; by two brothers, Dale "Little" Orr and Gale "Big" Orr.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joshua Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.
