Son of William Eggimann and Sophia Hager.
Married to Anna Pauline Mueller on 25 Oct 1896 at his home by the Lutheran Pastor J.G. Pflantz.
Father of six children.
Herman was the brother of Louis W. Eggimann, who married Anna's sister, Hulda.

Rites to Be on Sunday

Jackson, Dec 30. – Herman F. Eggimann, 76 years old, died today at 1:15 a.m. in the home of a son, Clarence Eggimann, west of Arbor. He had been in ill health the past several years and was seriously ill a year.
Born in September, 1873, Mr. Eggimann was married Oct. 25, 1896, to Miss Annie Mueller, and resided in and near Gordonville all of his life.
Mr. Eggimann, an active farmer until seven years ago when he retired, is survived by his wife, three sons, Walter Eggimann of Chaffee, Lewis Eggimann, of Gordonville and Clarence Eggimann of near Advance; three daughters, Mrs. G. E. Hartle of Davenport, Ia., Mrs. Walter Bodenstein of Gordonville, and Mrs. C. T. Saupe Of Pocahontas, and nine grandchildren.
The body was brought to Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home where it will remain until Sunday afternoon when it will be taken to the Zion Lutheran Church at Gordonville. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock with Rev. G. B. Seboldt in charge, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clarence Springer, Albert Sander, Otto Miller Jr., Arthur Miller, Delmar Eggimann and Earl Dean Saupe.
