Houchins, Robert Christopher - Sept. 14, 1960 - July 8, 2007
Robert, 46, served in the Navy for 14 years, retiring om medical leave. He was a lifetime Veterans of Foreign War member and worked closely with his father as a devoted volunteer. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and devoting time to his niece and nephew (twins) Chance and Martha, and to MIT Academy High School in Vallejo, CA. Robert was a devoted son, brother and uncle and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his father Robert G. Houchins, brother Donald, sister Cynthia (Danny) Ederer.
Robert died in a tragic car accident on CA Interstate 5.with his mother Verna Houchins age 68, sister Kathleen Renee Houchins Makepeace age 48 and niece Martha Caitlin Makepeace, age 16.
Robert was at the wheel.
